Put simply, Robotics Process Automation is the process of creating a software robot that carries out tasks on computer applications. The robot replaces the need for a human to carry out those costly and time consuming tasks whilst reducing the amount of mistakes made.
What processes can you automate?
Our development teams both in-house and off-shore have very comprehensive and unique skill sets enabling us to build complex bespoke systems for any and all of your computer application processes.
Will you train our employees?
If required, we will train as many or as few of your employees as we see fit. Each system or robot is built bespoke for your application and therefore our training is designed specifically for your business and employees.
Is it necessary to change current systems?
It is not necessary to change the applications for Robotics Process Automation. The robot works with applications in the Graphical User Interface (GUI) in a similar way as humans do.
How long does it take to have the robot in operation?
The length of time required to build, test and implement the robot is dependant on the complexity of the processes it is built for. Bots can be operational anywhere between a few weeks and a few months. Please also bear in mind that there is a consultation and detailed documentation stage that must occur before a bot can be put into build.
What are some common ways RPA is being used now?
RPA is ideally suited for tasks involving transactional data from a variety of sources.
Some examples of its current application include: Invoice processing, accounts payable, travel and expenses, claims processing, payroll input and change of (address, name, etc.). It is estimated that up to 45 percent of the activities companies pay people to perform can be automated through RPA.
